The Genesee Orleans Ministry of Concern offers the following services. Referrals are made to other agencies when appropriate.

Emergency Services
Services provided include temporary shelter, food, personal care items, prescription medications and assistance with utility bills.

Just Friends Mentoring Program
This program matches carefully screened adult volunteers with children in Orleans and Genesee Counties who are in need of a positive role model. The program also offers an activity once a month for all children in the program.

Follow-Up Support Program
The Advocate assists clients in formulating a preventive plan to avoid repetition of the same need and promotes their independence. We help and support clients in recognizing their abilities, setting goals, developing a budget, finding job training, obtaining available child care, applying for jobs and securing an appropriate job.

Furniture Program
We accept donations of usable furniture and working appliances and deliver them to the needy families in Genesee and Orleans counties.
